During a visit to the supermarket, Eastbourne Rocks! was astounded to find that this item was not only selected for purchase in the store, but once at the checkout the customer, obviously realising it was either too expensive or the wrong size, left the item discarded in the basket, for store staff to replace to the shelf later on.
What carelessness!
We tried to speak to the Store Manager to try and rectify the situation as we felt that this was laziness and negligence on the part of the customer, but they weren’t available to make a comment. What next?

We just couldn’t resist capturing this shot during a weekly visit to the supermarket where this little boy was obviously not at all amused by his trip to the shops and so decided to take a slumber in a basket by the checkout.
